Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your day of staying indoors and planning vacations to warmer places.
This past weekend I decided to brace the cold and go out to one of the most exquisite cafes in New York City: Ralph's Cafe, located on 888 Madison Ave, New York, NY. I decided to go this weekend to attend their special fashion week event, and I'm so glad I did!
Upon entering the place, you're greeted by Ralph's iconic looks from this season and an open cafe with white marble. It's absolutely breathtaking. The entire place has a soft glow about it, and everything is crisp and white. The service was attentive and efficient, seating us immediately for our 10 AM reservation.
We were able to pick between a cup of yogurt or a 2 tiered tray of pastries. I picked the pastries, John picked the yogurt. Everything was delicious, especially the croissants! They also gave us tiny jars of strawberry jam which were so petite and adorable.

I happened to attend Ralph's cafe during Fashion Week, but I had no clue what was going on when I got there. In order to properly showcase the newest looks of 2019, models would strut along the middle of the restaurant, pose, and be on their way.
It.
Was.
AWESOME!
I found probably about 20 looks I adored, and each model was so super sweet. Whenever I would try to get a picture, they would pose perfectly and wouldn't leave until you had all of the shots you wanted.
Ralph's Cafe is an experience, and I highly recommend it. It may sound like a tourist trap, but I promise you it's not. Even if it were one, I would still say GO and that it's better than a lot of cafe's in the city, based on the aesthetic alone. The food also happens to be absolutely delicious (even though they could stand to serve a little more), and the service was quick and efficient.
The New York Cafe is now closed, but I hear the one in Paris is just like it!
Have any other cafe's for me to try?Mention them in the comments below!
