Hi everyone, I hope all is well.

Are you getting pumped for fashion week? I sure am!

One of the top trends we've been starting to see if Animal Print. Now, even if you hate to wear real fur, faux fur that APPEARS authentic is more accessible than it ever was in the past. Animal prints keep us feeling cozy, yet remind us of the warm temperatures on a safari, something that I wish I could feel right now in the freezing Tri-State Area.

Here are my top favorite pieces that I've found that I HIGHLY recommend:

Leopard Print Coat

I've had a Leopard Print coat since I was little due to a wonderful family friend who sewed one for me. Let me tell you, I'm so glad this warm and toasty trend is in because this look is to die for. I picked this jacket because it's long enough so you don't freeze your butt off, but it's also short enough that you don't feel like Cruella Deville waltzing in New York City.

The coat shown in the picture is also faux fur for anyone who had the animal cruelty concerns.

A Leopard coat may seem flashy and hard to work with. I've seen people wear all black, but as someone who is a "rebel" and CONSTANTLY breaks the "No White After Labor Day," rule, I would wear an all white outfit underneath. Black picks up the spots, but white is more striking underneath such a fun pattern.

Snake Skin/Snake Skin PrintMini Skirt

When my mom told me that she had a snakeskin mini skirt in college, I just HAD to add it to this list. Now, I'm super picky with which snake skin I use...I really dislike super shiny snake skin, which is why this skirt from Nordstrom is perfect. The color is gorgeous, yet it's 100% cotton, meaning that subtle and comfortable.

Snake skin is a textures skirt while a snake skin print is when the fabric has the pattern printed on it.

If anything, I would look into your local vintage store to find a genuine snake skin skirt since 1) Supporting local businesses is always awesome, and 2) It will cost way less to purchase a pre-loved piece, which leaves you more money to get a perfect black bootie to go along with it.

When dressing with a pattern as complex as snake skin, go for a simple top. Black is a perfect compliment to the motif since there is usually black all throughout the skirt.

Snake Skin Mule Bootie

We all know that shoes are the favorite part of an outfit, and I could go on for an entire blog post about the endless options of fetching footwear in the animal print category.

These shoes are comfortable and can go with literally anything. It's perfect if you're just staring out the animal trend and don't want to be too loud with the prints.

This material is synthetic leather, so no worries! Guilt-free fashion!

Subtle Luxury Handbag

The show Parks and Rec taught us one of the best philosophies known to man: Treat Yo'Self. This bag is perfect if you want to be subtle with the print, have an investment piece that lasts a lifetime, AND keep up with the animal print trend.

This over the shoulder bag is perfect for going out and works with literally any outfit. Try a neutral, monochromatic look and have this piece pop!

This is large enough to fit your phone, keys, wallet, and a lip gloss, meaning you wont have lug around some heavy purse while on a date.

Crocodile Bag

For those who would rather go all out with the animal print trend but would also like to keep it wallet friendly, I found this purse from Mango, and it's only $36!

The blue is a perfect transition from winter to spring, and it's incredibly sophisticated. It also has a drawstring to keep it different from every other bag you see out there.

This color is muted, so this bag can go with a lot of different outfits and occasions.

Leopard Print Belt

A thin leopard belt can turn any plain outfit into a chic runway look in literally a minute. You can either put it through the belt loops on your pants, or you can wear a dress with this belt at the waist for an effortless look.

You can put this with a black skater dress, or even with a white pencil skirt so it can stand out more.

Leopard Print Headband

Someone alert Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl, because headbands are back in a big way!

I used to wear headbands all the time when I was younger, but they ended up hurting the back of my ears by 3 O'Clock, so I would end up ripping them off and throwing them into the abyss that was my closet. Dramatic, I know.

This headband is perfect since it is cloth and it won't bother you or give you headaches. It's also on the larger side, so you do not have to end up looking like a little girl and instead can strut like the fashionista you are.

Snake Skin Booties

"There's a snake on my boot!" is what Woody from Toy Story would say if he had these. (I'm sorry, I had to say it)

Honestly, these are probably the coolest booties I've seen this season, which means a lot when I say that because I love a LOT of boots.

If you've seen my past posts that talk about shoes, you all know I love Marc Fisher boots, and I was so glad to see that this was them when I clicked on them!

I normally don't go for heels that low, but these are so dashing that I'm going to make an exception.

Snake Skin Pump

Subtle yet completely on point, Sam Edelman has done it once again!

These are perfect for those days where you meet up with a friend after work. They're comfortable yet flattering, and you won't feel as if you look sloppy coming from a long day of work!

Corporate chic is something we all need to look more into, and these can go with any suit,

These would look lovely peeking from under a black, navy, or even gray suit.
