Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing great.

A while back, I decided to make a visit to Boston, and I shopped on Newbury Street. Located on Newbury Street is one of the most adorable boutiques in the Northeast: Max and Riley. They have products from formal dresses to active wear, and they feature the SJP shoe collection.

Here are my top picks from the Max & Riley Sale!

Lace Inlet Sweater

Isn't this the cutest? You'll probably wear this every single day this fall season if you don't get anything else from this sale. It's super soft and can be dressed up or dressed down. Perfect for a a casual dinner out or even a small game night with friends!

Paulina Je T'Adore Tee

As someone who is learning French on Duolingo, this shirt is perfect. Even if you're not completing a challenging course, you can never go wrong with a shirt that translates to "I adore you," which is what I said to this shirt when i first saw it.

This is good to wear in those early fall days where you walk out and it's cold but by the time you're done with work it's boiling hot outside. I would also wear this under a leather jacket!

Anastasia Sangria Silky Dots Dress by Show Me Your Mumu

This dress is a perfect transitioning dress from summer to fall because you can wear a cute jacket with it when it's cold in the morning or wear it by itself in the afternoon. It's a super versatile piece since you can dress it up with wedges and jewelry, or you can wear with with cute sneakers and a baseball cap...you can't go wrong!

The color of the dress itself is perfect since it's bright enough to be a cheery summer color, but it is also dark enough to be known as a warmer fall pink (which is a thing, I promise!)

Prancer Lou Sweater

Calling all Ugly Christmas Sweater lovers! This one is for you! I, for one, am not a fan of ugly Christmas Sweaters, but this just so happens to be an adorable Christmas Sweater...any excuse to add this to my wardrobe will work.

Be proactive and get this incredibly soft sweater before it sells out! Wildfox is a great brand who has the softest stuff, and this is an absolute steal.

Georgiana Metallic Jumpsuit

Metallics are IN this year, and Max & Riley delivered with this chic jumpsuit. Wear it to your holiday parties, it'll be an absolute hit.

Its designed by Rachel Zoe, and we see that it's a super flattering cut.

Also, you can check off outfit planning for the holidays if you get this now. It's about half the price right now, so I recommend you get it ASAP before it's sold out.

Sugar and Spice Dress

The day Max & Riley put this dress on the mannequin in their window, they posted it on their Instagram story and I never tapped that "Shop" option button so fast. I love this dress because it's different, the sleeves are great, and it's an overall great look.

This is another great season transition dress, and can even be worn with tights in the beginning of the winter.

Have you shopped the sale yet? What are your favorite pieces?

*****This is not a sponsored post, therefore these are all of my favorite picks from the Max & Riley Sale. I was not paid nor compensated for this post. All honest opinions here!*****

New York City is expensive, even just for a meal. Two hotdogs at a hot dog stand can cost up to $16...yeah, no thanks. I may love living large, but my wallet certainly does not, and trust me, having an adorable wallet (See post here) only makes spending money just a teensy bit easier. You know what makes it a lot easier to go out? NYC Restaurant Week! From July 22rd to August 16th, select restaurants will have $26/person lunches and $42/person dinners, which is an absolute steal when you think about it.

Chez Josephine:

As anyone who has ever met me knows, this is my absolute favorite place. Their food is delicious, and the decor is perfect. Their restaurant week dinner deal is perfect for a pre-Broadway meal.

Beauty & Essex

This is my absolute favorite brunch place. You walk in and it's an antique pawn shop, and you have to give them your reservation name and you'll be transported to an entirely different place. Words can do it no justice, you seriously have to see it for yourself. If you happen to go off from the menu, I highly recommend the red velvet waffles!

The Flatiron Room

Located in the Flatiron District, this spot is perfect for a stop on a festive night. It has an exquisite 1930's vibe to it, and there's even live music! I was taken here for my birthday last year and it was a great place to end the night. It's a prime place for date night in my opinion. They also provide whiskey and cheese classes every Saturday for the month of August!

Queensyard Kitchen

My friend went here a couple of weeks ago and insisted that I put it on this list! They said that the aesthetics are so chic, and their kale salad is to die for. They also recommended going there for afternoon tea; it lends itself for the perfect get together for a meeting with friends. I'm putting this on my want to try list for sure, and I recommend you do too.

Serra by Bierra

This is located in the Eataly location in the Flatiron District. Eataly is one of my favorite places to eat; their food is always top notch and delicious, and the place is decorated beautifully. The entire building in general is an Italian food store with so many different vendors, you can get lost in a manner of minutes. Their food is fresh, and inspires me to cook every time I'm there. They change their decor every season, so it's a surprise every few months. Their food never disappoints and if you pick one place from this list, it HAS to be this one.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing great.

I've decided to do a beauty try out category, where I try out different products and let you all know if it's worth it. I love experimenting with different lotions and potions, and I love telling people my opinion unwarranted, so making it a Try-Out Tuesday seemed to be a given. These posts will be short and sweet, just a quick blurb saying what I thought about the product.

I recently tried out the Quinine Shampoo and Conditioner from Klorane, an up and coming French beauty brand. This product was created for fine & thinning hair, and I decided to try it out since I've always wanted thicker hair.

I have been using it for about a week now, and I have to say, I've noticed a difference. My hair doesn't seem to have as many empty spots on the sides like it used to, it isn't as limp and frail as it used to be, and the fresh and clean scent really brightens up my day. It cleans my hair really well; I feel like my scalp can breathe a little easier. My hairbrush hasn't had as much hair in it, which says something since I usually have to clean it out every 2-3 days, and I also don't lose about 1/4 of my hair when I take out a ponytail!

What I also love about this brand is that their bottles are 50% recycled plastic, and they use plant based ingredients in their products.

What should I try next? Comment below and give me some suggestions!
